Banks are open today as it is the third Saturday of the month. Banks in India uniformly observe a holiday on all second and fourth Saturdays of each month and open on the first, third, and fifth Saturdays. Since December 20, 2025 is the third Saturday of the month, physical bank branches will remain open.
Digital banking
Customers can easily carry out transactions using internet banking, mobile banking apps, and UPI, all of which remain fully operational even on bank holidays, including the second and fourth Saturdays.
