It shall enable the consumers, residing in South and West Delhi, to exchange their old working ACs with the new energy efficient 5-star rated ACs at a substantial discount of up to 63% on MRP. This scheme will enable you to reduce your power consumption and energy bills by practicing energy efficiency at home.”

BYPL said on its website: “We have launched a limited period ‘AC Replacement Scheme’ in partnership with leading air conditioner manufacturers’ like Havells (Lloyd), Godrej, Blue Star, LG & Voltas, O’General. The intent of the scheme is to promote infusion of Energy Efficient AC’s in systems to save energy for both Consumers and Society. It will enable consumers, residing in East and Central Delhi, to exchange their old ACs with new Energy Efficient 5-star rated ACs at a substantial discount of up to 60 %.”
Details of BSES Rajdhani Power AC and fan exchange scheme
BSES Rajdhani power has released some frequently asked questions about this AC and fan exchange scheme:
1. Who is eligible for the scheme?
Answer:
- ● Any BRPL Domestic Consumers can opt for this scheme.
- ● To be eligible, consumers should have an AC in working condition installed in the same premises.
- ● Consumers should not be having any outstanding dues against the CA number on which the scheme is being availed, as on the date of Registration and all outstanding dues have been cleared.
The maximum number of AC’s that a consumer can exchange under the BRPL AC Replacement Scheme is three (3) per CA number.
2. How can I avail the exchange offer?
Answer: You can apply through following modes:
A. Online Registration:
You have to visit BRPL website https://www.bsesdelhi.com/web/brpl.
i) Select “AC Replacement Scheme” under “WHAT’S NEW” Tab.
ii)Consumers have to click “Click here” under “Registration for AC Replacement Scheme”.
iii)Consumers shall be directly routed to the registration page.
a) by clicking on the scrolling web banner on our home page “https://www.bsesdelhi.com/web/brpl/home”.
b) You have to click “Click here for registration”.
iv)Consumer has to give the details “Name, CA No, Email, Mobile” and click Register Button by selecting DISCOM as “BRPL”.
v) An OTP will be sent to the given mobile number during the registration process to complete the registration.
vi) Once Registration is completed, Consumer has to update
a. Alternate Mobile Number in Section – A. Updating alternate mobile number is compulsory to complete the registration process.
b. Select the required make, type and model of AC.
c. Upload necessary documents like registered consumer identity proof issued by the Government and click the submit button after accepting “Terms and Conditions under AC Replacement Scheme”.
vii) After clicking the submit button a Registration Number will be generated.
viii) Consumers can track the status of their application (Approved/Pending/Rejected) against the registration number under View Status after login.

Details of BSES Yamuna Power AC and fan exchange scheme
BSES Yamuna Power has published some frequently asked questions about the AC and fan exchange scheme. Some of them are:
1. What is the AC Replacement scheme?
Answer: The scheme is to replace non-star AC’s with BEE 5 star labelled /inverter AC’s. This scheme shall be applicable for 1/1.5/2 TR ACs. The old up to 3-star ACs will be defined on the criteria like no star label, grey market product and wattage.
2. What is the capacity of the AC offered under this scheme?
Answer: ACs available under the scheme are of 1/1.5/2 TR capacity presently.
3. How many ACs can be availed under the scheme?
Answer: The consumers can replace up to three ACs per CA number as per their requirement.
4. What is the criterion for the old AC?
Answer: The AC for replacement should be old up to 3 stars, installed at consumer premises in working condition. The actual power consumption of old ACs would be measured by OEM personnel during physical verification.
7. What documents/evidence are required to be given to get enrolled under the scheme?

5. What is the complete registration process?
Registration number will be generated through the system only with successful pre-registration of the consumer after verification of documents. Three forms: – registration slip, post installation form and indemnity bond.
- Stage 1: During registration through BYPL website/ Virtual call center, registration number will be generated for further processing. Registration link: https://byplws1.bsesdelhi.com/switchdelhi/frmLoginWebAC.aspx
- Stage 2: Consumer will hand over the registration slip and signed indemnity bond to OEM / manufacturer while booking selected model of AC and hand over the signed Post implementation form to OEM / manufacturer after installation of new AC at site.
The application will be subject to successful verification of requisite documents by BYPL. Consumers need to also upload following forms at the time of online registration – Consumer application form, Undertaking & Indemnity bond & Installation form
