This plan aims to offer affordable health insurance to PwDs, or persons with disabilities, by offering them a health insurance cover of up to Rs 1 lakh. It does not requre any pre-insurance medical tests, and also offers the facility of OPD treatments, including medicies, diagnostic tests and regular medical check-ups for non-ailing disabled individuals. However, the overall OPD treatment limit including medicines, pathology, diagnostic tests, etc., is covered up to Rs 15,000, while preventive dentistry is covered up to Rs 4,000/-.
