November 2025 bank holidays: Check state-wise closures for Kannada Rajyothsava, Guru Nanak Jayanti and more

As November 2025 begins, several states across India will observe regional bank holidays marking local festivals and occasions. All scheduled and non-scheduled banks will observe public holidays on second and fourth Saturdays, according to the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) rules. First, third and fifth Saturdays in some cases will work as regular working days unless specified as a holiday in the RBI holiday calendar.

Banks are closed in Karnataka for Kannada Rajyothsava and in Uttarakhand for Igas-Bagwal on November 1, 2025. In other states, banks will work as usual.

Banks are closed in Mizoram, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, Chandigarh, Uttarakhand, Telangana, Arunachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Jammu & Srinagar, Uttar Pradesh, Nagaland, West Bengal, New Delhi, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, and Himachal Pradesh on account of Guru Nanak Jayanti, Kartika Purnima, and Rahas Purnima.
