The department has identified certain suspected cases that may fall under the exclusion criteria outlined in the PM-KISAN scheme guidelines. These include, for example, farmers who acquired land ownership after February 1, 2019, and cases where more than one family member is receiving benefits (such as both husband and wife, or an adult and a minor). The benefits for such cases have been temporarily withheld until physical verification is completed.
Farmers are advised to check their eligibility status through the “Know Your Status (KYS)” feature on the PM-KISAN website, mobile app, or the Kisan eMitra chatbot for further details.
