Contrary to claims made in the viral message, the government has not withdrawn DA hikes for pensioners, nor has it announced that retired employees will be excluded from future benefits under the Pay Commission. Whenever Pay Commissions are implemented, their recommendations apply to both serving employees and pensioners, subject to government approval.
